Outlander Cookbook
Yes! You read that right. Not only that the idea of a cookbook with recipes from earlier times is just amazing, but with the subject of Outlander? It’s every fan’s dream. In the book you will find both, the recipes mentioned that have survived until our time, recipes that you can cook from ingredients that they used in medieval times or even recipes invented based on your favorite characters. Add Scottish cuisine and get a cookbook that is a great gift even for people who haven’t even heard of Outlander. (Someone like that still exists?)
Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone
As most of you may already know, on 23rd November a new sequel to the Outlander book series was released, and while most loyal fans may already possess the book after seven years of waiting for it, we can’t leave it off the gift list. And since we don’t want to reveal any spoilers to you, we’ll better move on to the next one.
The Clanlands Almanac
We will stay with books for a while, 23rd November was not only a momentous day for Diana Gabaldon, but also for Sam Heughan (the actor that plays Jamie Fraser) and Graham McTavish (the actor of Dougal MacKenzie), who published The Clanlands Almanac: Seasonal Stories from Scotland on the same day, both in British and American versions of English! Look at Scotland through their eyes and walk with them through every corner they have visited in the comfort of your home. This book is definitely a gift that will please every fan of both Outlander and Scotland.
The Sassenach Whisky
This year has been a real success for the actor of Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan). Earlier in the year he released a new Whisky called Sassenach, which not only became an instant hit thanks to its quality composition and amazing tastes, but won several awards as well. For example, the Double Gold medal at the 2021 San Francisco World Spirits Competition or the 2021 Gold Medal Europe Wine and Spirits Trophy. The actor also recently revealed the collabortion with El Tequileño, with whom he created The Sassenach Select Tequila. I’m sure both bottles will be great, pleasant gifts to find under the Christmas tree.
Claire’s wedding ring
Any woman will be pleased to find a beautiful piece of jewellery under the tree. What about a copy of Claire’s wedding ring? You’re sure to find countless companies online selling copies and replicas of her ring, and it’s certainly not only suitable for getting married, but also for everyday wear.
