If you are too eagerly awaiting the second part, and the finale of Season 2 Firefly Lane, you’re in the right place. The series is based on a book draft by the amazing author Kristin Hannah and is about two best friends, Tully Hart and Kate Mularkey, who have known each other since childhood, about their families, their lives and all that goes with it. For shows like this, which are about normal people, everyday lives, loves and sadness, we like the story to be really authentic to the real life of us viewers. We don’t like when one wonders at every other scene why on earth anyone would react that way and it doesn’t make us ask ourselves any hard questions. But that is not the case here. With each character, the viewer (and, of course, the reader too) can automatically identify themselves, understand their decisions, and it also makes us wonder how we would act at certain times. But watch out! If you don’t want to know any spoilers, stop reading any more!

What can we expect from last episodes?
As some of you may know, books and a serial story are quite different from each other, at least by timeline. At the end of the first book, there’s a big event where one character disappears from the story and the whole second book is about how others deal with it. Meantime in shows, the whole first series is all about their lives, and the so-called big event (we don’t want to tell you too much), at least the beginning takes place at the end of first part season 2. But since we know the second part will also be the end of the series, we are curious of how much the endings will already differ from each other even more with the changes that had already been made.

Cast of the last few episodes. Is there going to be difference?
In simple terms, no! All the characters that appear in the second part we could have seen before. Thank god there are some scenes of Tully and Kate’s childhood and thus we can look forward to their younger versions. These are played by actresses Roan Curtis as a young Kate and Ali Skovbye as a young Tully. Their older versions portray actresses Sarah Chalke as Kate and Katherine Heigl as Tully. We can also look forward to Tully’s mother Cloud, played by Beau Garret, Ben Lawson as Johnny Ryan husband of Kate, and Johnny and Kate daughter Marah played by Yael Yurman. Actress India de Beaufort will also return as Charlotte, a journalist who is in love with Johnny and actor Greg Germann, who plays Tully’s father’s brother. We are also going to see Justine the agent of Tully played by Jolene Purdy and Tully’s ex-boyfriend sport commentator Danny played by Ignacio Serricchio.
